The doodle is closed, workshop date:
25.04.2010, 13h00-17h30 at La Maison des Associations

What to present

Workshop in two parts:
Part 1. Theory/Presentation/Open discussion
Part 2. Practical/Hand-On: everyone takes and experiments with the available material (with or without buildsheet)

Part 1 ideas
Part 2 ideas

Add ideas/helpful links for the practical part of the workshop

Hardware

If you already have an Arduino, Arduino Shields, or some random electronics components that wait to be connected to the Arduino and it is ok for you to bring them along at the workshop list them below. This helps to define the hands-on part of the workshop

Components
Falko Henschke 2x Arduino Duemilanove, 1x Arduino Ethernet Shield, 2x small Breadboards, Leds, Cables, etc…
Michael Jaussi 2x Arduino Duemilanove, 1x Arduino Ethernet Shield, I2C RGB led, Breadboards, Leds, Cables, etc…
Lloyd Dizon Arduino Duemilanove +mini version, 2XBee modules, , mini servo, 8×8 Led matrix, 2×16 Matrix Display, Breadboards, Leds, Cables, etc…
Paul Bristow Arduino Duemilanove + Arduino Mega, 2XBee modules, Wifi module, 2x 8×8 RGB Led matrix, BlinkM RGB LED, MaxM RGB LED, Breadboards, Leds, Cables, etc…
Yourname your components

Remark from Mike Harrop:
Maybe http://www.tinker.it would help you with some free hardware, or, gasp, CEO Alexandra D-S could be in Geneva and leave you some blinking goodies ! They seem to be encouraging Arduino meetups at the moment.

Budget and other details

50 CHF (+ 35 CHF on sundays) for a conference room (12-50 persons and 4.5 hours) in La Maison des Associations
100 CHF for a video beamer
