PTL may have a locale within a few months, but there is some question of what is needed to satisfy our members and potential members.

Frankly I am a bit surprised by the results thus far. 6 out of 6 respondants have said that they want the “heavy-industry” style of hackerspace. Yet during the first meetings of the PTL, it seemed like more than half of the ~14 people present would be happy with some office-type space to do pair-programming. Have all of those folks gone away?

It maybe that some would like a “heavy industry” style workspace because they have ideas for projects that would require it. Possibly the difference between an ideal workspace and what might be realistic?

It is nice to have dinner every Friday and talk about Techy stuff. But I realize we can not develop a real community if we don't have a common space where we can work and play together. We need active searchers, word-of-mouth and opinions in this Quest. Go PTL members!
