-We stopped the siphoning with about 2 litres of very turbid wort and mash left at the bottom of the cauldron.  I regretted leaving so much behind.  The pre-made filtering brewing bag looks find, but the bottom is made of a coarser mesh to help drain the mash, but it allowed too many broken grains to get through.  In might be worthwhile to sew another bag of a finer-meshed cloth.
