< Moi au RMLL 2012 à Genève
I have very little knowledge in electronics but I have a Raspberry Pi and an Arduino. I can program in python. I hope to learn and share knowledge at Post Tenebras Lab and get some interesting project done.
I have been using Linux on most of my computer since 2007 (and computers since windows 3.11 on a 486).
On my home network I run a Pfsense Router on an low power Alix board and a home-built storage server using FreeNAS and the ZFS filesystem. Check out FreeNas and Pfsense which are two great open source project (which just happen to use BSD).
Raspberry Pi: Great little device for hacking.
I also have a Pandora which is a hybrid between a mini Linux computer and a gaming device. http://openpandora.org/
And the “ultimate” geek phone: my Nokia N900. Do you known of any other phone that has a keyboard shortcut for opening a terminal out of the box ?
Using the GPIO on the Raspberry Pi
Try go get the TM1638 working on the Rpi. Waiting for it to arrive (ordered from Dx)
RPi forum: some code to get TM1638 to work on the RPi: http://www.raspberrypi.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=10787&p=119969
I am now running my RPi as a dedicated Squeezebox player. I am using Squeezeslave and an external USB soundcard. I have a small 2x15w class D board from Sure electronic connected directly (no preamp). Works great for now ;)
For future project…
